la Casetta Rossa

Italian language and culture for children

Ciao! Welcome to La Casetta Rossa!

La Casetta Rossa is a “little red barn” in a scenic meadow, where we offer a unique Italian language program for children of the Upper Valley. We are located just a few minutes from the center of Norwich.

At La Casetta Rossa, kids in grades 1-8 have the opportunity to expand their cultural horizons by learning the Italian way of life and language from native speaking instructors in a friendly and welcoming environment with lots of space both indoor and outdoor. Grammar and vocabulary are acquired through fun activities including arts and history, cooking, imaginary travels, games, songs, storytelling and much more.

Studies have shown that learning a foreign language enriches memory, improves analytic abilities and strengthens problem-solving skills. In an increasingly global world, La Casetta Rossa gives children the tools they need for future success, while offering a stimulating and memorable experience.

Schedules for Winter and Spring 2017 are now available. Enroll now in our program for fun afternoons together!
